SALVAGED STAIRCASE – Forest Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa
Original staircase had been removed and discarded in earlier remodel. Owner salvaged a similarly configured stair from a house being demolished and Falls Millwork modified it to fit new location, refurbished, refinished and installed it. Quarter sawn, white oak, painted balusters.
